You drive close enough, and it automatically grabs you and makes you eject your ride. It is also automation where you have no say in the matter. While the moonpool, and docking smaller rides into the cyclops has automation. Even if there was a wide amount of leeway wiggle room, it would be a nightmare to get into position in a practical manner beyond "Well, you can manuver into position at all. We'd need to be relying on rear cameras with an awkward tub of a sub that can't strafe. Though right now (outside of the Devs taking the time needed to make one) the biggest problem for such a thing is how super awkward it would be for a Cyclops to manuver into position for one. It's a great idea that has been suggested quite often. ![]()
